INC-22A: ACTIVE Company Tagging
Prepare the details for Form INC-22A, the verification of a company's registered office and particulars under the ACTIVE scheme.
What it is
Form INC-22A (Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification) was introduced in 2019 for companies incorporated on or before 31 December 2017 to confirm their registered office with a photograph and geo-tag, their directors, auditor and e-mail. Companies that did not file are marked "ACTIVE non-compliant", which restricts some filings until the form is filed with the fee. This template collects the details needed.

- A company marked "ACTIVE non-compliant" on the MCA portal.
- Restoring the ability to file changes in capital, directors or registered office.
- Checking compliance during due diligence of an older company.
What the template covers
- Company name, CIN and date of incorporation
- Registered office address
- E-mail and mobile for OTP verification
- Geo-tag latitude and longitude, photograph
- Directors as per ROC records
- Auditor name, FRN and authorised director

Stamp duty, registration and filing
The form requires pending financial statements and annual returns to be filed first and directors' KYC to be up to date. A fee applies for late filing. Check on mca.gov.in whether the form is still applicable to your company and the current fee.
