The terms that apply when you use this website, its tools, document templates and AI chat assistant, and the disclaimer required for websites of Chartered Accountants.

Terms of Use

Last updated 30 October 2026

This website, skagandassociates.com, is published by SKAG and Associates, Chartered Accountants, Kh.No-84, Plot No -RZ-I-1, F/Floor, 12/2, Main Rd, opposite Yammaha Showroom, Mahavir Enclave, New Delhi, Delhi 110045 (“the firm”). Use of the website is subject to these terms and to the guidelines of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for Chartered Accountants in practice. By using the website you accept these terms.

1. ICAI disclaimer

As per the rules of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Chartered Accountants are not permitted to solicit work or advertise. By using this website, the user acknowledges that:

  • there has been no advertisement, personal communication, solicitation, invitation or inducement of any sort from SKAG and Associates or any of its members to solicit work through this website;
  • the user wishes to obtain information about SKAG and Associates for their own information and use, and is accessing it of their own accord;
  • any information obtained or material downloaded from this website is at the user’s own volition, and its transmission, receipt or use does not create a Chartered Accountant–client relationship;
  • the information is general, is not professional advice, and should not be relied on without independent professional advice.

SKAG and Associates is not liable for any action taken by the user relying on material on this website.

2. No Chartered Accountant–client relationship

Using this website, the AI chat assistant, the tools or the document templates, or sending the firm an enquiry, an email or a WhatsApp message, does not create a Chartered Accountant–client relationship. An engagement begins only when the firm and the client sign an engagement letter that states the scope of the work and the terms.

3. General information, not advice

The content on this website, including articles, updates, guides, calculators, checklists, templates and chat answers, is general information only. It is not professional, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it may not reflect the latest legal or regulatory position. The answer for a particular case depends on its facts.

While reasonable care is taken in preparing content, the firm does not warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current. Statutory positions, due dates and rates may change without notice. Verify the current position on the official portals, or consult a qualified professional, before acting. How content is prepared and corrected is explained in the editorial policy.

4. AI chat assistant

  • Answers in the chat are generated automatically by an AI model when you ask. They are not reviewed by a Chartered Accountant before you see them, and they may be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
  • Do not enter confidential information, such as PAN, Aadhaar, bank or password details, or details of a client’s affairs. Personal identifiers are masked automatically before a message is sent to the AI provider, but the masking may miss unusual formats.
  • Chat messages are processed by an external AI provider (DeepSeek or Anthropic). The privacy notice names the provider, its country and how long chat transcripts are kept.
  • The assistant does not pass your chat messages to the firm and cannot take instructions or accept documents. Do not use it for anything that needs a decision on your case.

5. Tools and calculators

The calculators and checkers on this website are simplified for general understanding. They may not consider surcharges, special rates, foreign-income provisions, specific exemptions or recent notifications. Results are estimates and should not be relied on for tax filings, financial planning or legal decisions. Check the official portal or consult a qualified professional before filing.

6. Document templates: licence and responsibility

  • Licence: you may use documents you generate with the website’s templates for your own or your organisation’s purposes, including business use for your own matters. The templates themselves may not be republished, sold or offered as a service to others.
  • Drafts only: a generated document is a draft. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional for your facts before you sign, file or rely on it.
  • Stamp duty and registration: paying the correct stamp duty, and registering or filing a document where the law requires it, are your responsibility.
  • CA certificates: certificates such as net worth, turnover or Form 15CB cannot be generated here. They must be issued by a practising Chartered Accountant after verifying the records, with a UDIN.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website is the intellectual property of SKAG and Associates unless otherwise indicated. You may view, print and download content for your own reference, and use generated documents as set out in section 6. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires the firm’s written permission.

This website links to official sources, such as ICAI, government departments, regulators and their portals, and to services such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. The firm is not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external websites. A link does not mean that the firm endorses the website.

9. Acceptable use

Do not scrape or copy the website in bulk, send automated or abusive requests to its forms or chat, try to break or bypass its security, or submit another person’s personal data without their permission. The firm may block access that breaks these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the firm is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this website, its tools, templates, documents generated with them, or answers given by the AI chat assistant. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

11. Privacy

How personal data is collected, used, kept and shared, and how to reach the Grievance Officer, is explained in the privacy notice.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising in relation to this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, Delhi.

13. Changes and contact
