Quick answers
Does SKAG and Associates serve Bindapur?
Yes. Bindapur is one of the closest localities to the firm’s Mahavir Enclave office. The firm takes up income-tax, GST, TDS and audit work for shops, small units, freelancers and families in Bindapur village and Bindapur Extension.
How close is the office to Bindapur?
The office is at Kh.No-84, Plot No -RZ-I-1, F/Floor, 12/2, Main Rd, opposite Yammaha Showroom, Mahavir Enclave, New Delhi, Delhi 110045, about 4 km by road from Bindapur along the Dabri–Palam Road. Dabri Mor–Janakpuri South and Dashrathpuri stations on the Magenta Line are both near the office.

Bindapur, next door to the office
Bindapur lies between Dabri and Uttam Nagar, south of Najafgarh Road, and includes the old Bindapur village and the denser Bindapur Extension colonies. SKAG and Associates, a Chartered Accountancy firm proprietored by CA Gaurav Singh, practises from Mahavir Enclave, Palam (New Delhi – 110045), a short drive away, and makes its Chartered Accountant services available in Bindapur for local businesses, professionals and households.
Common needs in a dense residential colony
Much of the economic activity in a colony like Bindapur is small-scale and home-based, and the compliance needs reflect that. Neighbourhood shops and kirana stores often need advice on whether GST registration is required at all, and on the composition scheme if it is. Tuition centres, home tutors and freelancers commonly ask about presumptive taxation (Sections 44AD/44ADA for FY 2025-26, and the corresponding provisions of the Income-tax Act 2025 from Tax Year 2026-27) and advance tax. Landlords letting floors or rooms need rental income reported correctly and, where tenants deduct it, TDS on rent matched in Form 26AS/AIS.
Work the firm takes up
Engagements from the locality usually involve:
- Income-tax returns for salaried people, tutors, freelancers and landlords
- GST registration where it is required, and composition or regular GST returns
- Udyam (MSME) registration and simple books of account for small units
- TDS returns and reconciliation of Form 26AS/AIS
- Replies to income-tax notices
- Shops & Establishment, PF and ESI registrations for growing businesses
The full list is on the services page.
Getting to the office
By road the office is about 4 km from Bindapur (OpenStreetMap routing), along the Dabri–Palam Road to the Mahavir Enclave main road, where the office is opposite the Yamaha showroom. For those travelling by Metro, Dabri Mor–Janakpuri South and Dashrathpuri stations on the Magenta Line are close to the office, and Uttam Nagar East on the Blue Line is the nearest station on the Najafgarh Road side of Bindapur. Frequently asked questions
Do home tutors and freelancers in Bindapur need GST registration?
Not always. A service provider generally needs GST registration only when aggregate turnover crosses the threshold (Rs 20 lakh for services in Delhi) or when a specific rule makes it compulsory, such as inter-state sale of goods or selling goods through an e-commerce operator. Export of services counts towards turnover, and once registered an LUT allows exports without paying IGST. The firm can review the facts and advise.
What PIN code does Bindapur use?
Most of Bindapur uses PIN 110059, shared with Uttam Nagar. Some parts towards Dwarka are recorded under 110075. Check the PIN on your address proof, or on the India Post website, before using it on a GST or bank record.
I missed the July deadline for my FY 2025-26 return. Can I still file?
Yes. A belated return for AY 2026-27 (FY 2025-26) can be filed under Section 139(4) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 up to 31 December 2026, or before the assessment is completed, if earlier. A late filing fee under Section 234F applies (₹1,000 where total income does not exceed ₹5 lakh, ₹5,000 otherwise), with interest on any unpaid tax. After that date only an updated return (ITR-U) is possible.
When does a freelancer in Bindapur pay advance tax?
Advance tax is payable where the tax for the year, after TDS, is ₹10,000 or more. The instalments for FY 2026-27 fall on 15 June, 15 September, 15 December 2026 and 15 March 2027 (15%, 45%, 75% and 100% cumulatively). A professional who opts for presumptive taxation under Section 44ADA (Section 58 of the Income-tax Act, 2025) may pay the whole amount by 15 March.
