MoA Object Clauses for a Private Limited Company
Draft the objects of a private limited company for its memorandum of association, filed with the SPICe+ application.
What it is
The memorandum of association states the name, registered office State, objects, liability and capital of a company, under Section 4 of the Companies Act, 2013. The object clause sets out the objects to be pursued on incorporation and matters considered necessary in furtherance of them. Objects should be specific enough to describe the business and broad enough to allow related activities; the ROC can question vague or unrelated objects, and the name of the company should reflect its main object.
